Today, Tango woke up at Nanny Cay Marina and had a jam-packed morning! After breakfast, we headed to the YEP base on Tortola to hang out with our friends from yesterday. At the YEP base, we practiced our archery skills and everyone shot the target! Once we finished with archery, we headed back to Nanny Cay and had some free time at the marina. We had a delicious lunch of chicken wraps and then got ready to de-dock!

Today was Challenge Day! That means the students ran the entire boat and de-docked I Am Free and sailed us to Little Harbour on Jost Van Dyke. They ran the show with the stand by support of the staff. During our sail, we listened to music, practiced our downwind sailing, and hung out. After passing Sandy Cay, we moored at Little Harbour and had a snack before boat showers. At 7 p.m., we headed to Sidney’s Peace and Love for dinner with the Alpha fleet. After a delicious buffet and some time to explore land, we headed back to I Am Free to power down and get ready for Day 11!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
