Christina Cannon

Social Media & Mate

Christina has led treks in the Himalayas of Nepal, guided high-class rapids in the mountain rivers of Oregon, and snowshoed and skied her way through the Rocky Mountains of her home base of Colorado. No matter where her love of outdoors leadership and wilderness travel takes her, Christina loves to learn and teach about the things that are unique to that particular place on this wild and wonderful globe! Before joining Sail Caribbean, Christina researched the cell biology of jellyfish, worked as a journalist in San Francisco, and interned in NASA’s Mars Exploration Program at NASA Headquarters. She went to college in the Appalachians of Tennessee and at Oxford University, UK. She loves to read sci-fi, play her banjo, wander the streets aimlessly, and do photography. She helped start her university’s Women in STEM organization and is passionate about helping people access both science and humanities who otherwise might not be able to. She loves humor and thrives on fun conversations, and she is super excited to spend this summer making new friends and memories in the Caribbean!
