Thomas “Watt” Canipe

Watt Canipe was raised in North Carolina and attends the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He worked for two summers on the Camp Don Lee sail staff, where he taught sailing on Sunfish, Flying Scots, and, his personal favorite, Hobie 16s. His favorite sailing memory is sailing Flying Scots to the Cape Lookout National Seashore. In his first summer with Sail Caribbean, Watt is excited to share all he has to offer to both campers and fellow staff members, and even more so, he is looking forward to learning from this invaluable experience.
