Cornwall, England
Ollie is from a small town on the North coast of Cornwall (or as he likes to call it Kernowfornia), England where he regularly surfs and hikes along the cliffs with his dog Tassy. He has always had a passion for the ocean having lived by the sea.
Ollie first stepped foot on a sailboat aged 3, however, it was not until he began sailing aboard the world-famous Jolie Brise tall ship that he became hooked! Since then he has gone on to achieve his Yachtmaster Offshore Qualification, sail across the Atlantic twice and won numerous Tall Ships and other Offshore races. Following over 4 years and 15,000nm in sail training, Ollie went in search of the chance to sail in warmer waters and make use of his 1st Class Degree from Cardiff University to inspire teenagers why both sailing and the ocean are so important and what can be done to help protect it!
He is very excited about joining the Sail Caribbean team and the prospect of being able to jump into water warmer than 57F.
