We wrapped up Day 11 of staff training, everyone! I’m Franny, the social media coordinator, and I can’t believe campers arrive tomorrow!
This morning, we woke up in Trellis Bay at 8:00 (we slept in!) and I made French toast on Mile Hi. After breakfast, we went ashore for meetings with Mike to make one final push in preparation for the campers’ arrival.

We had some time to relax and grab coffees before splitting up. Mile Hi and Beau Budd sailed back to Hodges on their own while the leadership team had a meeting. I stayed behind with the Provisions Managers to finish up some computer work and help get all our ducks in a row.
Later, we caught rides back to Hodges and met up again for another staff meeting where we reviewed the manual. We got to see our amazing office team too, which is always a highlight to catch up with them and see how hard they’ve been working behind the scenes.
Then it was time to give our boats a deep, deep clean, making them look as fresh and spotless as the day we got them! Around 4:30, we all headed ashore for much-needed land showers (yay!), just as the captains began docking their newly arrived boats — and wow, they looked fabulous. Our jaws were on the floor!

Afterward, we grilled out, and the Provisions Managers made an amazing dinner. The Sail Caribbean Divers team joined us too! To wrap up the evening, I put together a staff slideshow with photos from the past 11 days so we could reflect on all the fun memories and get even more excited for tomorrow.
We’re powering down now, tomorrow will be busy busy! What a summer we have ahead!
