Hi! I’m Lindsey and I’m a mate on Stella Maris II. We woke up at 6:45 AM at Cooper Island, and Oscar and Noah treated us to a breakfast buffet with bagels, fruit, and yogurt!
We had a quick turnaround, and by 8:00 AM the divers were heading to shore. Some of the certified divers explored the Wreck of the Rhone and Thumb Rock, while others stayed around Cooper to work on their Open Water and Advanced Open Water certifications.
Everyone else headed to shore around 9:00 AM to swim at the beach, get ice cream, and do a little shopping. After returning to the boats, we kicked off water sports—some of us Colgated while others went tubing!
Lunch was mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, mangoes, and apples, all thanks to Gavin and Kadey! While the divers ate their packed lunches on the dive boat, the rest of us cleaned up and hopped on Nohea with some Delta students to sail over to Salt Island for the famous Salt Hike. The hike was a blast and the views were absolutely stunning.
We returned to Cooper where our divers rejoined us, and it was time for boat showers. We blasted our boat playlist, which features everyone’s favorite songs, and then dried off, hung out, and swapped stories from the day.
Arden and Liza cooked us a delicious stir-fry dinner, and we wrapped up the day with a boat meeting and a few games to wind down. The day was the perfect mix of adventure, fun, and connection! Excited to share about tomorrow.
