Good Morning from Privateer’s Bay on Norman Island! It’s a cloudy morning and the ASA students are getting ready for their 201 course, while the DMT’s (Divemaster in training) are gearing up for a day in the water. Day 10, we motored to Cooper Island. The Lima Sail girls went on the Colgate 26 sailboat with Mady and met us there. They studied for their 104 exam while watching the beautiful sunset. The DMTs did rescue 7, 100m tow and finished their chapter 9 e-learning.

The DMTs were diving all day on shore at Cooper Island on Day 11. They helped Sail Caribbean Divers with Alpha’s AOW course, then they completed their search and rescue work. The ASA girls spent the morning studying for their 104 test, took the test… and passed! We then got some shore time in the afternoon and got ready to start the ASA 201 Instructorship course the next day.

Day 12 we woke up at Cooper and went to shore to get coffees and a snack before the ASA girls went to Hodges Creek Marina for their 201 course. The 201 course started with a prep day, where we talked about our sailing experience and what the course would entail. The DMTs worked on shore in the morning and came back to the boat at noon for a motor to Privateer’s Bay on Norman Island. We picked up Shi, Nina, and Lexi around 4 pm for dinner and shower time!. The crew is excited to pass their 201 course and finish the DM course. Mannat said her favorite part of the past few days was passing your DMT test, wohooo! We played a fun game of psychiatrist at boat meeting last night and had a lot of laughs!
