Charlie/ Bravo Day 3: Brought to you by the crew of Monet I

By wpdev July 17, 2014

We woke up super duper nice and early! After an awesome breakfast of scrambled eggs and English McMuffins, we finally left our mooring ball at Marina Cay and set our sails for Cooper Island.

Luca had an awesome day on the helm and led us through some well-executed gybes. Jef, our navigator, expertly led us around the reefs and into safe waters.

Once we picked up a mooring ball at Cooper Island Beach Club and secured our secondaries, some of us went diving while the rest of us got the chance to do some tubing and water-skiing along with sailing on Opal Bella, the 26-foot keelboat!

Before dinner, we all went a shore and had an inter-fleet social involving cold sodas and watching the sunset over Tortola! Once we got back to the boats, Eric helped out with making sure dinner was on the table and we had some delicious burritos. It was another great day in the British Virgin Islands!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
