Isabel O’Leary

Isabel has been sailing since age 10, developing a lifelong passion for the ocean. She grew up in a coastal town called Cobh, Ireland. She got her first sailing instructing job in her local sailing club, working on small dinghy boats teaching both kids and adults all aspects of sailing, to now skippering abroad on larger yachts. With a love for adventure and a strong connection to the sea, Isabel has spent countless hours on the water, exploring new destinations, creating great friendships along the way, and embracing the challenges of life at sea. This summer, she is taking on an exciting role as a mate/captain where she will be responsible for guiding young sailors through an unforgettable experience on the water, with her fun, outgoing, adventurous spirit and her great sailing knowledge with a passion for teaching. Whether navigating crystal-clear waters, teaching essential sailing techniques, or sharing stories of past adventures, she is committed to making this summer an inspiring and memorable one for every camper on board.
