Alienor Lamarche

Ali is from Belgium and has participated in 5 Sail Caribbean programs after she fell head over heels in love with the ocean and the people! She speaks French and English, and is now learning Spanish. She has lived 5 years in South Africa and has been lucky enough to have traveled around the world with her family. She loves adventure and outdoor sports like sailing (obviously), kitesurfing, and waterskiing. Last September she crewed for 3 months on a 112ft schooner with Seamester, sailing from Bali to Cape Town, having marine biology and oceanography courses, as well as leadership and IYT sailing certifications. She has two little sisters and has always gotten along with the kids who surrounded her! Her dream is to become a biologist and help save our beautiful planet. It’s important for her to include everyone in a group, and she makes sure nobody ever feels left out. Ali loves to laugh, and you will always be in a good mood when she is around! You will never find her without her rings and necklaces. She loves making friendship bracelets and drawing in her free time. She can’t wait to share all her passions with the campers and give them amazing memories.
