Ava Miskic

Ava is thrilled to be returning for her second summer with Sail Caribbean! Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, she is currently working toward her Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Victoria on Vancouver Island and will enter her fourth year this fall. Ava will be studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, this year, continuing her love for travel and experiencing new cultures. Growing up close to the Rocky Mountains, Ava spent her winters skiing and developed a passion for the outdoors at a young age. Since moving to the West Coast for school, she has fallen in love with island life and the ocean– something she didn’t grow up around in Alberta.

Her summers were often spent on a small island in Croatia, where her family is from, and those experiences helped shape her love for the water and adventurous spirit. Whether it’s on skis, on a bike, or exploring on foot, Ava is always up for an adventure. After an unforgettable first summer in the British Virgin Islands, Ava is so excited to return for another season filled with growth, hard work, and unforgettable memories with the Sail Caribbean community!
