Flora Adams

Flora is an adventurous sailor who loves sharing her passion for the water with the next generation. She grew up racing 420s with the Youngstown Yacht Club on Lake Ontario, and for the past six years, she’s been teaching sailing at a youth program on Lake Erie in her hometown of Buffalo, NY. Flora’s goal is to help kids build confidence and have fun while learning to sail. She holds a USCG Captain’s License and an RYA Coastal Yachtmaster Certification, showing her dedication to becoming the best sailor she can be. Flora has sailed in many beautiful places, including Costa Rica, Jamaica, Portugal, Indonesia, and the West Indies. She can’t wait to explore the British Virgin Islands next! When she’s not sailing, Flora loves skiing, cooking, and making pottery. She’s really looking forward to making this summer special and helping students discover the joys of being on the water!
