Hannah Connell

Meet Hannah, a 22-year-old from South Bend, Indiana. Despite growing up far from the ocean, she has always wanted to pursue a career in marine biology. This led her to move to the East Coast, and she recently graduated from Boston University with a degree in Marine Science. While at university, she studied Caribbean coral reefs and conducted field research in Belize. Last spring, she studied abroad with SEA Semester, where she spent six weeks on a tall ship in the South Pacific sailing from New Zealand to Tahiti. This experience helped her discover a love for sailing and taught her the value of leadership and teamwork. In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving, hiking, and yoga. Hannah is excited to join the Sail Caribbean team to share her passions for sailing and marine biology and create unforgettable memories with the campers this summer!
