Hilary Chessler

Hilary is excited to be returning to Sail Caribbean, where she first fell in love with sailing and scuba diving during the summer before her senior year of high school in Princeton, New Jersey. Her Sail Caribbean experience inspired her to take a gap year before college, during which she lived aboard a 112-foot schooner with 27 other crew members and sailed over 5,000 nautical miles from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean. Eager to add to her international experiences while exploring career options, she then interned at a public relations firm in Cape Town, South Africa. Now a student at the University of Miami, majoring in Public Relations, Hilary takes every opportunity she can to get back on board a boat and to spend time by the ocean. Hilary hopes to inspire a passion for sailing and the ocean in others the same way the Sail Caribbean staff inspired her during her three-week Foxtrot experience a few summers ago.
