Mia Barton

Mia is originally from Santa Barbara, California. Growing up just 10 minutes from the beach meant she spent most of her time in or around the water. She loves surfing, paddleboarding, and kayaking whenever she gets the chance. After high school, Mia swapped her surfboard for skis and headed to the University of Colorado Boulder, where she double majored in Leadership & Community Engagement and Sociology.

After graduating, Mia moved to Hawaii, where she worked as a Registered Behavior Technician. On the weekends, you can find her ripping up the skate park on her roller skates. Most recently, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Belize for two years, partnering with a local primary school to teach life skills and help run after-school sports programs.

Adventure has always shaped her life, and she is beyond excited for this next chapter to begin!
