Mia Barton
My name is Mia Barton, and I’m originally from Santa Barbara, California. Growing up just 10 minutes from the beach meant I spent most of my time in or around the water. I love surfing, paddleboarding, and kayaking whenever I get the chance. After high school, I swapped my surfboard for skis and headed to the University of Colorado Boulder, where I double majored in Leadership & Community Engagement and Sociology.
After graduating, I moved to Hawaii, where I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician. Although on the weekends, you could find me ripping the skate park on my roller skates. Most recently, I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Belize for two years, partnering with a local primary school to teach life skills and help run after-school sports programs.
Adventure has always shaped my life, and I’m beyond excited for this next chapter to begin!
