Min Min Kelly
“Min Min” grew up along the Gulf Coast, where her passion for sailing started when she lived aboard a 32-foot sailboat with her family for high school. While taking a gap year in the Bahamas, her passion for Marine Biology was sparked, which led her to the University of South Florida. During her 4-years in college, she raced competitively on the Women’s Sailing Team and completed a 4 month internship in the FL keys practicing coral restoration and marine husbandry at a local aquarium before earning her B.S. in Marine Biology.
“Min Min” has developed a strong passion for sailing both recreationally and competitively, still sailing competitively at an international level and coaching for over 10 years. She finds fulfillment and so much joy sharing her love for the water. Min Min also trains dogs proessionally and enjoys surfing, skateboarding, scuba diving, slacklining, and triathlons. She is most looking forward to passages, exploring a new place, and connecting with the Sail Caribbean family. This will be her first summer with Sail Caribbean!
