This morning we woke up once again at Cooper Island! It’s really a great place to be, there’s a sprawling view of the north side view of Tortola from where we are moored. On the island itself there is a boutique, coffee shop, a mini Sail Caribbean Divers shop, and a restaurant, not to forget the sandy beach that you walk through to access all these places. The divers today continued working on their certifications with the pros, easy enough for them as some the dives are right off the beach, not far to travel.

For everyone else the morning began with the Salt Hike, we motored over to Salt Island, which is just a short distance away. Once at the peak of the island, it allowed us 360 views of the whole ocean. On a clear day, you can see a ship wreck from the 1800s off the southern side.

The rest of the day was spent Colgating (which are the smaller sailboats that students learn on to receive their sailing certifications), watersporting, and having a good time splashing around in the clear waters of Cooper.
