Today we were sad to leave Scrub Resort and the amenities there – However, we were excited to put up the sails one last time and do the Olympics at Savannah Bay!
We executed a perfect de-docking from Scrub Resort in the morning. We then raised the sails and tacked upwind to get to Virgin Gorda. We dodged lobster pots and enjoyed the last long sail with the sails up. We then anchored at Savannah Bay on the first try and were very happy as it was so beautiful!
We then shuttled to shore at Savannah and got ready for the Olympics competition between all the boats on the pretty white sand. The staff boat was dressed as Greek gods in togas and directed the games.
We did synchronized swimming, buried the counselors and decorated them in sand, and played dizzy fenders, a relay race with a fender, mask, fins, and snorkel.
Finally, we played tug-of-war which Summer & LBG won.
After the Olympics, we had the rest of the afternoon to go tubing, wakeboarding, and waterskiing. We could also hangout on the boat, read, play in the water, and visit friends on the other boats. The marine biology mates did a lesson on coral reefs and a snorkel after. It was a very interesting and popular activity that was held on boat Summer.
The crew loved today! They are sad that tomorrow is the last full day, but are excited to visit The Baths in the morning and swim for the final time!
