Today we woke up at Soper’s Hole on Tortola. Liv and Spencer set out a beautiful breakfast buffet before we hung out with friends on other boats. After breakfast, we did PDCs and de-docked to head over to Sydney’s on Jost Van Dyke. We had a fun and relaxing sail thanks to our amazing skipper Sophia and the rest of the crew.
When we arrived at Sydney’s, Vespa and Evie got to work cheffing up some delicious quesadillas to fuel us up for Dinghy Dares. Clean up was handled by Ryan and Sophia. Once we were ready, we prepared for Dinghy Dares, where the staff boat gave us different challenges, and we dinghied over to present our creations.
The first challenge was to create our best snack and draw a picture of Quin. My boat, Charette, won this one by creating a snack that looked like Quin. The second challenge was a fashion show, where Charette dressed up our captain, Topher, in a pretty dress but Blueberry took the win for that round.
The next challenge was a paddleboard race, where two people were on a board—one blindfolded with the paddle and the other navigating. It was so fun to watch. The final challenge was a performance off our boats, where everyone showed off their best backflips and dives. Ryan and Myles had learned to backflip earlier in the program and were super excited to show it off.
After the final challenge, we had some swimmy fun time, and all of us on Charette swam over to Betty’s Dream to hang out. Afterward, we headed back to Charette to shower, clean the boat, and get ready for our Sydney’s dinner and dance party.
When we arrived at Sydney’s, we did a little shopping, ate a delicious dinner, and danced the night away. We returned to the boat, played a few rounds of Piggly Wiggly, had our boat meeting, and headed to bed to rest up for another exciting day tomorrow.
