Friday on Nohea was one for the books.
The Sierra crew kicked off the morning at 7am with an incredible ecosystem introduction snorkel at the caves off Norman Island. We swam alongside a massive school of tarpon, baby sergeant majors, tons of reef fish, and even a rainbow waiting for us at the surface — pure magic.
By 8am, we reunited with the rest of Mega and Delta fleets on shore at The Bight for the famous helipad hike. After a few rounds of beach volleyball, we began the climb. At the top, we played Sail Caribbean classics like Captain Says and Where the Wind Blows, soaked in the views, and made our way back down.
Back on Nohea, we got ready to sail to Nanny Cay. This was hands down our best sail yet. We raised our main and unfurled the jib in record time, then enjoyed a smooth, relaxing crossing. We ended the journey with our very first team docking. Skipper Charlotte and Captain Frankie absolutely crushed it. After tying up, we deep cleaned for inspection and earned some well deserved shore time.
During shore time, some of us went shopping, others got ice cream, and a few dove straight into the water — safe to say it was a win all around. After catching up with friends and family during phone time and helping stow new provisions (yay digestifs!), we showered on shore and had a burrito bowl dinner back on board.
To wrap up the night, Bronte led a fun and interactive fish ID lesson. By 9:30pm, we powered down, grateful, sun kissed, and full of memories from another perfect day in the Caribbean.
