It’s Day 5 of the Lates Program, and the energy aboard Tigre is at an all-time high! We woke up with the sunrise and enjoyed yogurt parfaits for breakfast to fuel us for the activities ahead.

Our students immersed themselves in SCUBA training and practiced skills to earn their Open Water, Advanced, and Rescue Diver certifications.

While sailing, students practiced jibing maneuvers during the downwind sail to Norman Island. The sun was shining bright as the wind filled our sails.

Later, Sierra and Foxtrot students dove into marine biology and a fish identification lesson before snorkeling the turquoise waters of the caves near Norman Island. ASA students went sailing on our Colgate 26s, and there was a lot of fun to be had during water sports.

A wonderful evening capped the day as everyone gathered for a hearty chicken quesadilla dinner. Students on Tigre shared appreciations for each other and told stories of sailing wins, underwater discoveries, and favorite jokes — Setting the tone for more incredible experiences ahead.
