Foxtrot Day 5

By wpdev August 10, 2014
Boat: Mazurka

Skipper: Danielle
Navigator: David
Mate: John

Little Harbour, Peter Island to Nanny Cay

Upon waking up, the open water divers went diving and the remaining people went turtling. It was very exciting because Danielle caught a turtle! It was the biggest turtle of the summer and we took lots of measurements and successfully tagged the turtle! After this, we raced Samba around Pelican Island to Nanny Cay in a massive storm with pelting rain. We reached Nanny Cay, docked, and the fun divers, Danielle and David, left for their first dive of the session. In the evening everybody went to Pegleg restaurant for dessert and played games on the beach.

Today our crew did a great job of: sailing in the rain

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
