Day 9: Brought to you by the crew of Monet!

By wpdev June 16, 2014

What a beautiful day! We started out the day with a sunrise snorkel around The Indians.

Harrison, Kendall, Claudia, Ethan, Madison and Maurice sailed our small sailboat, Opal Bella, from The Indians to Cooper Island.

They accomplished this long, upwind sail fantastically and met up with the group again to explore terrestrial Tortola via a truck tour of the island.

We also took some time to relax on the picos.

The truck tours were super fun and scary, like a roller coaster! We also got the chance to stop for some smoothies on the tour and see the amazing views the spot had to offer.

We had a delicious dinner of honey mustard chicken, pizza bagels, and grilled veggies, which were prepared by Ben and Cole.

At Hodges, we had some social time with the other boats and were happy to call home for Father’s Day! We are making great friends and are not looking forward to this trip ending soon.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
