Foxtrot/Sierra day 8: Brough to you by the crew of Samba

By wpdev June 29, 2014

Captain of Samba: Jack
Mate: Nick
We woke up to the soothing purr of a twin Volvo engine as our staff labored above decks. After navigating a perilous journey of hidden rocks, narrow passages, and heavy traffic, we arrived at the beautiful Bitter End Yacht Club. After our boarding parties made land, we had our daily lesson on the formation of the B.V.I.’s taught by our fearless captain who goes by the name of “Ish”. Lunch was had and the afternoon activities began.

We were set loose into a fleet of Hobie Cats, wind surfers, tubes, and wake boards. We attacked the gift stores and took as much loot as we could carry. We then retired to our ship for a celebratory feast of pesto pasta with hashings of pepperoni and broccoli. We then went to Saba Rock for an evening soire of shakes of milk and virgin colada’s of Pina’s.

Our miracle moment was when our mate “Sir William” rangled down the wind surf board and rode it off into the horizon. Today our crew did a great job of having a swell time, but we still need to work on keeping everything tidy.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
