Tango day 10!

By wpdev July 23, 2014
We woke up and ate delicious banana pancakes prepared by our mate, Kate.  It was a treat to not have to make breakfast for ourselves.  After, our skipper of the day ran through the pre-departure checks with the captain, Dave, and we assigned positions for dropping the ball at Little Harbor on Jost Van Dyke.

We made it to Soper’s Hole quickly where we ate a creative lunch of stir-fried pasta salad prepared by Ben and Ryeen.  Following a quick cabin clean, we headed to shore.  Everyone enjoyed the air conditioning of the grocery store and perusing the shops as we spent the afternoon on the Island of Frenchman’s Cay.  Loaded with souvenirs, we headed back to the boat for showers, dinner, and boat meeting.  Dave announced challenge day, where we learned that we will be in charge of the boat from wake up to boat meeting.  Let’s hope we can rise to the challenge!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
