This morning, we woke up at the Bitter End Yacht Club and got ready for an exciting day on shore! Our morning began with a hike up Guy’s Trail where we were able to see the entire North Sound. After our hike, some of us grabbed a bite to eat at the Pub onshore and checked out some of the shops to buy souvenirs and goodies. Later in the day, we all took turns signing up for rotations of watersports such as tubing and riding Sail Caribbean’s infamous Popparazi tube as well as rotations of taking out small boats such as Hobie Cats, Lasers, and 420s and sailed around the North Sound. It was a day for the books!

After our activity-filled day on shore, we headed back to our boats to shower and get ready for Chili Cook Off! Chili Cook Off is a competition between all of the boats in our fleet to see who has the best chili, best presentation, and best theme! We even have special guests, visiting Chileans, come to our boats to try and judge each boat’s chili. Some of our themes were Moana, the mannequin challenge, and chilly chili. All of the chili was delicious and our judges had an amazing time! After Chili Cook Off, we all got ready for bed to prepare for our big sail to Anegada tomorrow.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
