This morning, the crew was treated to a late 8a.m. wake up time, and had a delicious breakfast of eggs, bagels and cereal. We all spent some time at the Nanny Cay shops and pool before our fearless captain Arter taught an in-depth de-docking lesson.

Our Skipper of the day lead us through a well-crafted de-docking plan as we departed Nanny Cay for Fat Hog’s Bay to refuel. Despite being a difficult area to maneuver, the crew was well informed about the docking plan to Fat Hogs, and we docked, refueled and de-docked flawlessly.

Once refueled, we set sail for Trellis Bay and thoroughly practiced our tacking maneuvers. While the Open Water divers did not have the same amount of tacking experience, the rest of the crew compellingly helped and re-taught the divers the jobs and mechanics of tacking.

Having a beautiful day at sail, we moored up at Trellis Bay and welcomed the delicious meal of stuffed peppers that was prepared by two of our team. Our boat meeting of the evening was a game of pirates and hot seat, giving us an opportunity to get to know each other even better than we already have.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
