Today started with our crews splitting up divers and non-divers to load up on to separate monohulls so that our underwater adventurers could de-dock bright and early to motor over to Mountain Point for an early morning dive on the Kodiak Queen.

While the divers were underway, the rest of the crews were finishing out there morning rest on docks before de-docking and heading straight for Great Harbour, Peter Island where the fleet all eventually met up. The sail down the channel was a slow one as the wind was blowing almost directly behind us the entire time. Our crews had a chance to practice downwind sailing, trimming sails for a broad reach and, of course, tying preventers!

Once we arrived at Great Harbour, we picked up a mooring ball and immediately began dinner preparation so we could feed our divers before they left for a night dive! The rest of the crew stayed on board and began letters to self, played cards and jammed out to some tunes before the divers returned home. Once everyone was back to their home boats, we ended the night with the sharing of events and stories from the day and of course boat meeting where we all built up excitement for Race day and Olympics that will be happening tomorrow!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
