Annabel Hitchmough

Annabel grew up in the UK and spent most of her teens sailing dinghies. She spent years working as a dinghy instructor and race coach, drawing on her extensive racing experience.  She studied Illustration at the University of Plymouth, and has since been working as a freelance illustrator alongside other work and travels, which have included two seasons working as a skipper and host for flotillas in Greece and Croatia. Other roles have taken her to Morocco, where she worked as a yoga instructor at a surf camp, among other adventures.

Now a qualified Yachtmaster Offshore, Annabel brings a calm and friendly presence to life at sea. She enjoys sharing her skills and knowledge and helping people feel comfortable and confident on board. She’s especially excited to explore the wildlife of the BVI – and in quieter moments, you’ll likely find her with her sketchbook, documenting her favourite little moments.
