Lates Fleet! Day 8 – Leverick Bay
Written by Lexi, Mate on For Obvious Reasons
Today was Day 8 of the program, and we had an exciting day of dares, sailing, and shore time.
Wake-up today was at 6:30 for some of our campers as they embarked on a snorkel and saw beautiful reefs and even a few sharks!
The snorkelers came back, and the rest of our campers woke up as well. After we ate breakfast, it was time for Dinghy Dares, where all the boats competed by completing dares and going to the staff boat.
These dares included a joke competition, making Topher out of breakfast, dressing the captains up as movie characters, and creating a choreographed dance.
We then set sail to Leverick’s, where the campers had shore time, which included getting delicious food at the restaurants and shirts to remember their visit!
Once we were back on the boats, we had some swim fun time and tubing as dinner started cooking. At the end of the night, the campers had a Challenge Day briefing and had an early night to get some rest for the busy day tomorrow!
