Today, we all woke up to a delicious breakfast buffet of bagels, yogurts, and cereal. After filling ourselves for a busy morning, the Open Water divers went to Chromis Reef for their first Open Water dive!

The rest of the crew shuttled to shore for beach time and watersporting. Poparazzi, Sail Caribbean’s infamous water-sporting tube, made an appearance and those students brave enough held on as they surfed and soared on the waves. Everyone from shore could watch them outside the mooring field and could pick them out by their bright yellow rugby safety helmets.

Those who stayed on shore could walk around the shops, take out a kayak or stand up paddle board and even go for a staff lead snorkel at Cistern rock!

When the divers returned, we all prepared for an amazing pasta salad for lunch. And afterwards, we left Cooper and set sail for Great Harbour, where we practiced our mooring ball pick ups again.

Everyone hopped in the water for a refreshing ocean shower and then came together to make jerk chicken and plantains for dinner.

After dinner and boat clean, we held our nightly boat meeting and settled in for a quiet night on board and a well-deserved sleep after an active day!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
