Alpha 1, Day 3
Captain of the day for Sao Jorge: Matteo

Port of Departure: The Bight, Norman Island
Final Destination: Great Harbor, Peter Island
We woke up to a storm at 3:00am.
Later that morning, half the group started their open water scuba certification and the other half went on a hike and hung out on the beach. We then came back to the boats and made lunch and prepared out boat for departure.
When we left for Peter Island we raised both the mainsail and the jib! Before we lowered the sails, we went through our first tack. when we arrived at Peter Island, we talked briefly about marine biology and went on our first snorkel. We saw many different types of fish. After that we showered and had a great dinner (Burritos prepared by Jake and Patrick)
We capped off the night with a game of UHT.
