The Alpha and Charlie fleet awoke bright and early to a very calm, serene morning in Deadman’s Bay, Peter Island. We had a quick breakfast and clean and then the Advanced Open Water divers went off for their Deep and Peak Performance Dives. The remaining sailors readied the boats and up-anchored for a light wind sail to circumnavigate Peter and Norman Islands.

Arriving at the Pirate’s Bight, Norman Island, the crews prepared lunch as the divers returned as newly Certified Advanced Open Water Divers! The fleet met on shore while some went to a dive boat in the afternoon for a Discover Scuba Diving experience. The shore crew hiked to the helicopter pad and played a couple fleet wide games and then spent the rest of the time on shore relaxing out on the beach with stand up paddle boards and kayaks. Some of the Alpha and Charlie fleet got to experience the thrill of the Sail Caribbean’s infamous Poparazzi tube.

Once back on boats, the crews were treated to an amazing sunset while they showered and ate a hearty dinner. Everyone met back on shore for a fleet-wide social! A beautiful star scape was the treat for the fleet as everyone finished off Day 4 in the Beautiful Virgin Islands.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
