Day 10: Alpha 1 Fleet

Today, we began the day just like any other. We wake up in a beautiful place, eat some delicious breakfast food, and review the plan for the day. Once breakfast cleaning was done, the divers hopped on the dive boat and headed over to Lee Bay. The dive site, “The Maze” was a great place to see cool underwater rock formations, huge schools of colorful fish, and much more. During this time, the non-divers hung out and swam around Marina Cay for a bit and then headed to shore on Trellis Bay to visit Aragorn’s Studio. When the divers returned, we all ate pizza bagels for lunch! It’s a fleet favorite! After lunch, we sailed over to Mountain Point, which is one the end of Virgin Gorda. There, we set anchor and watched a beautiful sunset over the water. Stir fry was for dinner and we spent some time in the evening cleaning our boats. Overall, it was great day and ended with a quiet night on board.

Sorry for the delay, pictures are running a little late.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
