We began our day by up anchoring after breakfast for a short sail to Long Bay so that we could could compete in our Charlie/Alpha Olympics! We shuttled to shore and as soon as we arrived it unfortunately began to rain. However, this did not dampen our spirits. The first event was a relay race where we had to complete an obstacle course while carrying a cup of water. The first team to fill the buckets would win, which was Galilee! James and Harry were extremely fast and helped to secure the win.

The second event was a trash art contest, where we cleaned the beach as part of our community service. We then used our findings to create art. Using the trash art in a creative way, we turned Nicole into a human fountain which was great. The third event was synchronized swimming which Cailey and Louisa choreographed expertly, and included classic dance moves like the whip. The final event was a tug of war, which despite best efforts from everyone, especially Selena and Chloe, we sadly did not win.

We went back to the boats for lunch, then Jerko, James and Louisa went diving. Meanwhile, the Alpha kids returned to shore for water sports. Spencer went on the poparazzi while Selena, Chloe, Nicole, Louisa, Cailey and Sophia went paddle boarding. The divers returned for dinner which was a BBQ on shore with the Soxtrot fleet. After dinner, an ice cream truck came around which was a perfect end to the day.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
