We awoke at 7:00 to an epic breakfast of bagels with scrambled eggs, avocado, and Bacon prepared by master chefs Gracie and Jasset. Program director Riley then towed over the hotdog tube which provided so much fun for staff and campers. After a sweet tubing sesh we prepared to drop the mooring ball and head out, under Skipper Maddi’s orders we headed out for Hodges Creek Marina.

Some high speed winds made for great sailing up to 7 Knots! We keeled over a bunch but we’re helped out by Jeremy’s winching skills which kept the sails trimmed correctly. After a brief water up at Hodges Creek we continued our high speed sail around Beef Island and we anchored at Lee Bay on Great Camanoe.

Cole and Sam sent some crazy jumps off the side of our vessel Torne. We all swam around the boat and then showered while the entire boat rallied together to prepare a wonderful beef bowl dinner. After a spirited boat clean, everyone joined for a boat meeting and some quiet time on board. Another successful night in the books.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
