On Friday July 14th we woke up at Benures Bay and had a hearty breakfast before starting some water sports in the morning. A lot of campers have been getting up on waterskis and wake boards for the first time! There were also some campers going out on the 26 foot Colgates to learn some important stuff for their American Sailing Association certifications. Some things they are learning are: points of sail, taking and jibing, man overboard procedures, and parts of the boat.

Next, we picked up the mooring balls and sailed to Nanny Cay where we docked for the night. We love going to Nanny Kay because it is so beautiful and there is so much to do. Once we arrived we got to explore the island by going to the beach and shops! There is a nice little boutique where kids bought bracelets, rings, and other merchandise. Also, kids got to go to the grocery store to get snacks and a pop.

Later that evening we took freshwater land showers, called home, and had chicken stir fry for dinner. To finish off the night we had a boat meeting and went to bed under the stars!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
