On August 3rd campers woke up early in Cane Bay, made breakfast, and set sail for Great Harbor on Peter Island. Once our sails were raised staff boat set the start line for a race! When the buzzer sounded over the radio, all the boats were off! It was fun sailing so close to the other boats, all flying yellow Sail Caribbean flags! We waved as we passed each other before distance increased. After an hour or so, Stargazer crossed the finish line! Once the race was complete we all picked up mooring balls and made a quick lunch before the divers got picked up. Others had an afternoon of free time including watersports and snorkeling. ASA 101 students went out on the Colgates for their sailing practicals and they all passed! Soon enough it was time for boat showers and CHILI COOKOFF!! One of campers favorite nights of the summer! Staff boat visits each camper boat  to taste their chili, judging on theme, taste, smell, and vertical acceleration. Staff boat got in to character as pirates! We saw some really creative themes such as a chili murder trial, a staff boat skit, a presidential election, a riff off and Barbie Dreamhouse! Each boat also put their own touch on the chili some incorporating sriracha, or rice, while another boat made chili dogs! Checkout all these awesome pictures from each boat!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
