On July 7th, we awoke to the beautiful view of the Great Harbor. For breakfast, we had a spread of cereal, bagels, bacon, and orange slices.

After breakfast, we left Great Harbor and sailed to The Bight at Norman Island while being accompanied by Zoe, social media coordinator. We moored and had lunch consisting of warmed pita stuffed with mozzarella and deli meat.

We then boat-swapped and went snorkeling at The Caves with our friends on Betty’s Dream. The Caves were in the side of the mountain, and we got to swim into them! We saw some really cool fish, including big parrot fish and cardinal fish!

We then headed back to The Bight, picking up our divers and preparing burrito bowls with chicken, black beans, rice, and lettuce for dinner. We were joined by Gus, the provisions manager, and Zoe for dinner.

Afterward, we cleaned up from dinner, had a boat meeting, and went to bed.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
