Our two boats on Delta, S/Y Polygala and S/Y Aegnor have finished up their third day on program. After we had breakfast this morning, crews went ashore to the Cooper Island Beach Club area to grab some ice cream, enjoy the shops/boutiques, and frolic through the palm trees and in the sand. We had a few campers head ashore for diving as well! Not to forget the awesome sandcastle building competition we had between boats. Campers channeled their creativity and imagination for a successful bit of competition.

After a few hours of shore time, we went back to boats and had a boat playdate. Both crews got to hang out and make lunch together–today it was pita pockets! Yum! Following lunch clean was a quick move to some mooring balls closer to shore, and both boats got to practice their mooring ball catching skills.

We snorkeled around boats while some kids spent more time on shore, and we also had some campers go out on the Colgate 26 today! Staff took students to sail around the Sir Francis Drake Channel, our main channel here in the BVIs, where there is steady wind and great conditions for sailing. We are super fortunate to be in such an ideal spot for that.

We took some refreshing ocean showers, made dinner, and had a playdate on a couple boats from Mega Fleet, S/Y Samoa and S/Y Stargazer! So, shoutout to the crew on Samoa and Stargazer for having us over. Stay tuned for future trip updates!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
