Tango Day 9!

By wpdev July 22, 2014

It was an early morning for the Tango crew.  An 8am dive was scheduled to finish up the open water certification for Jeremy, Jake, Claire, and Sam.  The remaining crew headed to the Indians for a fantastic snorkel where Justin saw a huge Rainbow Parrot fish!

When the divers returned, there was a quick lunch of greek wraps before dropping the mooring ball and heading to Jost Van Dyke.  Max, our skipper of the day, lead the charge as the Mazurka crew raised their sails and and turned the motors off to cross the channel. We arrived at Little Harbor on Jost Van Dyke and took some showers before heading to shore.  At Sidney’s Peace and Love, the waitress, Strawberry, made some tasty virgin daiquiris and there was a feast of cheese burgers and fish and chips.  Most had room left over for ice cream!  Tango headed  back to Mazurka for a quick boat meeting that was temporarily interrupted by a visiting butterfly.  After a busy day, and some dive homework, everyone was happy to get to bed.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
