Awaking on the ball at Great Harbour, Peter Island, we got our crew together to make breakfast and get the divers ready to go. Once the divers have left to work towards getting their specialties, we prepared our boats for departure and drop the ball. Our destination is not far, a 20 minute voyage around the headland brings us to Little Harbour. Here we set about learning how to med-anchor, where the stern of our boat is moored off to an anchor on land, and our bow is anchored as usual. This makes a really stable anchorage with little to no sideways drift; it also makes for an interesting task and change of scenery.

Once were med-anchored, we set about having fun in the water, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Peter Island. Before lunch, the bay is alive with snorkelers on the lookout for turtles as massive shoals of fish migrate around the bay. The air is alive; with the whole fleet anchored close together so the students can swim between boats, causing young, fun mischief and making the most of the morning sun.

After lunch, we head to shore to explore the island, taking in some beautiful sights and exploring some forgotten buildings. Many laughs were had today; we ended the night with dinner, followed by a night dive for the specialty divers. We then made some delicious deserts before boat meeting, where we chatted about the day and got the schedule for tomorrow. Spirits are high at Sail Caribbean, bring on tomorrow.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
