Today looked very similar to that of yesterday… only flipped! As our crews awoke in their respective bays, Trellis Bay or Long Bay, they sat down for breakfast and wished their divers well as they headed off to another morning dive.
The younger boats, who were anchored in Long Bay for the morning, gathered their remaining crews for a late-morning sail circumnavigating the Camanoe islands and Scrub island before finally mooring in Trellis Bay. The rest of their afternoon was identical to that of the older group’s the day before. Once they were on a ball, the divers rejoined (after a spectacular dive where a turtle joined in on the fun!) and they all sat down for lunch onboard. Following lunch, students were shuttled ashore for their departure covid testing, a beach clean and some shop time to round out their afternoon. Come sunset, it was time to head back to boats for showers and sushi delivery!
At the same time, our older groups who started in Trellis Bay for the morning underwent their departure testing right at Trellis Bay before dropping their mooring ball and sailing over to Long Bay for their full afternoon of water-sporting, kayaking Hobie, colgate and Pico sailing, and Sail Caribbean Olympics! After a full afternoon of activity, our Operations and Provisions team were back at it again cooking up another delicious BBQ for this new group of athletes.
