Today we woke up around seven and had breakfast burritos for breakfast. Once breakfast was finished and cleaned, we got ready for the day and our departure. Today we are leaving Salt Island and heading to Little Harbor. When we were ready for our departure, half of our boat hopped on a dinghy and headed to Hodges where they were going to board a colgate and meet the other half of the boat at Little Harbor. Those who stayed on the boat prepared the sailboat to start sailing. Once we unanchored and motored out some, we raised the sails and were on our way to Little Harbor. During this sail, we sailed around Salt Island out into bigger waters to help us get a feel for our overnight sail.

Once everyone got to Little Harbor and anchored, some people who had not been on the Colgate sailed around for a little. Those who stayed jumped into the water and snorkeled around for a while. While snorkeling, we saw many fish, coral, and a small turtle. While those on the Colgate were learning how to tack and jib, some of us who were snorkeling around decided to go tubing. Once the Colgate got back, they went tubing as well. After everyone tubed, sailed, and swam around, we hung out on the deck listening to music and talking.

As it got closer to dinner time, we started to do showers and prepare for dinner. Dinner tonight was stir fry with a twist because we only had chicken, eggs, and broccoli. After dinner we chilled some before starting the boat clean which consisted of cleaning dishes, the decks, salon, and cockpit. When the boat was cleaned, we all sat on the deck to have our boat meeting and play a few games. After we finished our meeting and games, we concluded the night with fresh pineapple and homemade banana bread.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
