Tango 2 Day 11: Sail Caribbean Olympics!

Yesterday was a competitive day for Tango! After a morning “wake ‘n skate,” we dropped the ball at Little Harbor and motored to Sandy Cay. Upon arrival, we went to shore for our very own Sail Caribbean Olympics! The first event, endearingly called “Dizzy Fender,” is where students put on a pair of fins, mask, and snorkel, and run to a fender, spin around it 5 times and run back to their next crewmate. Tango came out on top! Next was “Mate Art” when we buried Kygo in the sand and made her into a beautiful mermaid. This was followed by synchronized swimming and finally, the Tug of War!
After Olympics, Perry, our Fleet Captain, led everyone in a pirate lesson in the middle of Sandy Cay. We also may have had a sighting of Drew Brees, but it was not confirmed! After lunch, we headed to Cane Garden Bay to spend the night on the north side of Tortola. After a tasty dinner of steak fajitas, we did a deep clean of our boat and decided that it was time for an early night after all our excitement and winning!
