This morning, we woke up for our very last morning on the water, so sad! We up-anchored in Long Bay and motored to the Baths, where we hooked our final mooring ball of the program. After breakfast, we swam into shore to go on the “hikel.” After a brief geology lesson and hike through the boulders at the Baths, we reached Devil’s Bay and snorkeled back to Jump Rock. The jumps were inspiring and then headed back to boats for a huge pasta lunch!

About an hour after lunch, we were outside Hodges once again and preparing for our final docking. Our Tango students were very focused as we came into A dock and very nicely fitted between 2 other catamarans. After a thorough cleaning, we had glorious land showers and a Sail Caribbean tradition of ribs, slaw, mac & cheese. Our last night was filled with skits and awards from the last 2 weeks. Tango won Olympics, with victories in the Dizzy Fender and Sand Art events! Once back on the boat, we wrote each other plane letters and had the best last night at Sail Caribbean!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
