Tango Day 6!

By wpdev July 19, 2014
Skipper of the day: Justin

Navigator: Missy

Mate: Jake

For the first time, today everyone woke up on time!  After breakfast, Dave showed Justin how to do an engine check.  While we were motoring over to the docks at  Nanny Cay, we had a docking lesson.  We even had a successful docking on our first try, and we were all super excited! We met the YEP kids at Nanny Cay, then we went to the beach with them and got to know one another and played some games.

After we finished cleaning, we got our phones to call home to our parents to check in.Missy, our fun diver, got to go on two dives and saw lots of lobsters and angelfish!

We  really enjoyed spending some time on shore getting ice cream, T-shirts, gifts, and just relaxing.

Jeremy,Kate, and Sam all pitched in to help make delicious pasta for dinner.

At the end of the day, we got to take a land freshwater shower at the Nanny Cay hotel showers, this was a nice change from our usual ocean shower.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
