Katrina Churton

Katrina grew up living in both San Francisco, California, and Kristiansand, Norway, which were pretty different places, but the one thing they had in common was always being on the ocean. Ever since she was a kid, her favorite place to be was near the sea, whether it was going out on the boat, fishing, or looking for seashells. As she got older, that passion introduced her to sailing and scuba diving during her gap year after high school, where she got on a sailboat and sailed across the Atlantic Ocean.

Ever since then, she has pursued a job in the yachting industry and scuba. Katrina graduated from Tulane University last year with a degree in psychology and, since then, has been traveling around Europe and living in Honduras, working as a dive master and getting her scuba diving instructor’s license. She is so excited to be back with Sail Caribbean for her third summer and can’t wait to share her passion for the ocean with the new students!
