Makena Servas

Makena grew up in Littleton, Colorado, but the mountains eventually lost out to the ocean. After spending 3 months sailing from Antigua to Tahiti, it’s safe to say the water is where she feels most at home. Currently finishing her last year at the University of Hawaii, this is her first summer with Sail Caribbean!

A rescue diver with a love for free diving, scuba, and surfing, Makena thrives anywhere outside and in the elements. With experience as a surf instructor teaching kids and beginners, as well as a snorkel guide, she loves helping others feel confident and excited in the ocean. She’s stoked to be out in the BVI this summer and can’t wait to share unforgettable experiences on the water!
