Miles Guth

Miles is from Baltimore, Maryland, and currently attends the University of Miami, where he majors in Political Science and Marine Science. On campus, he races on the sailing team and stays involved through his fraternity. He’s grown up on the water: starting with dinghies in Annapolis, sailing keelboats in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, and spending his summers on small boats in North Carolina. Being on the water has always been a constant in his and something that’s shaped who he is.

In the summer of 2023, Miles attended Sail Caribbean as a rising high school junior, and it quickly became one of the most transformative experiences he’s ever had. Living aboard a boat, learning to navigate new environments, and forming close friendships with people from all over the world pushed him in ways he hadn’t experienced before. It gave him a new sense of confidence and independence. Now, he is excited to return and give that same experience back to others. Miles is passionate about helping students learn how to sail, adapt to life on the water, and build friendships that last long after the summer ends.
